" because faith come by hearing and bearing by the word" you can't separate then. "Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of tyre and Sidon, and behold, a woman of Canaan come from the region and cried out to him, saying: HAVE MERCY ON ME, O LORD, SON OF DAVID! MY DAUGHTER IS SEVERELY DEMON POSSESSED."
Why do you suppose this lady left her region and came to him. And how she know that Jesus could help her! Because she hear, what does she hear? I don't know. But I know this man hear something about Jesus healing ministry. It takes faith for her to move from are region in searching for Jesus. Hearing is how we get the faith to reach out to God's supply.
In Act the tenth chapter from verse one, an angel appeared to a certain centurion the bible says he was a devout man. But he have not known the way to salvation. "Cornelius, you're a devout man, God has heard your prayers, Now sent to Joppa and ask for Peter. He'll come, and tell you how to be born again," why did not the angel tell Cornelius the Gospel of salvation or just recreate this Good folk any other way. It could has been much More efficient than sending men on a two day journey (one way) to bring Peter back.
God has intelligently plan it all. Somebody with a physical body must preach the Gospel. That's why Jesus give us the great commission in mark 16. "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believed of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher" (Roman10:14) no one can have any faith without this process "HEARING,HEARING" and hearing again. The seed of the word must be planted.
FAITH IS ACTION
"BUT WHAT SAYS IT? THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, EVEN IN YOUR MOUTH, AND IN YOUR HEART! THAT IS THE WORD OF FAITH, WHICH WE PREACH; THAT IF YOU SHALL CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH THE LORD JESUS, AND SHALL BELIEVED IN YOUR HEART THAT GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, YOU SHALL BE SAVED, FOR WITH THE HEART MAN BELIEVED UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS: AND WITH THE MOUTH CONFESSION IS MADE UNTO SALVATION" (Roman 10:8-10)
God create us all with a perfect will, after when the word is being heard you have to choose whether to believed or not. Our previous verse above says "with the heart you believed" and the word "heart" here is not referring to our blood bump. You can't believed God's word with any organ of your body, we can only believed spiritual truth with our spirit. When the word said "I will give then a heart to know me" (Jeremiah 24:6) God is not saying he will do a organ "heart" transplant. But the spirit will received during the new birth is what the scripture is referring to.
You believed with your heart and you act on what you have believed. It says with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Now you have to know that to confess is to do something, and faith is not all about hearing something but also doing something, when you receive the new birth you don't just hear the word. But after hearing it you went on to take action by acknowledging or confessing Jesus as the Lord of your life.
The lawyer did not give you the inheritance he help you get it. Because it was all yours before all the process went. By reason of the new birth we have inheritance in Christ Jesus. The word says " according to his divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and Godliness, through the KNOWLEDGE of him that has called us to Glory" (2peter1:23) how does you has the knowledge of something? It comes when you hear of that thing. Either through reading or listening. It says God has given us the ALL THING. But we must first possess the knowledge before possess the ALL THING. When will have the personal knowledge of God you don't still have to struggle for things. Because is word is his will.
